Church Partnerships

4KIDS is able to impact the lives of thousands of kids every year because of amazing partnerships with churches throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. We believe the Church body is the answer to the foster care crisis and that by being welcomed into a Christian home, kids can find hope and healing.

4KIDS locks arms with the local church by equipping them with the tools needed to care for vulnerable children. Church Partners agree to:

Engage

• Pray for foster care in our region
• Become DNA Ministry Partners with 4KIDS
• Find an Advocate within your church that would advocate for vulnerable children

Educate

• Work towards having a consistent 4KIDS presence at your church
• Aim to host 2-4 foster family recruitment events per year
• Grow a Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) that provides wrap-around support for foster and adoptive families in or near your church.
• Train in CarePortal to better minister to biological families in need near your church.
• Raise up one new foster family

In turn, 4KIDS agrees to:

Equip

• Consistently pray for your church—including you in our Daily Prayer Hour and Church of the Week prayer initiatives.
• Assist you in creating your Ministry Action Plan, setting measurable goals and provide ongoing, all-inclusive support.
• Train, equip and license all foster and respite families from within your church
• Provide a Family Support Professional to each foster family
• Train your Champion or CFA (FAM Leader) and qualify those involved with FAM
• Provide consistent updates to your church leadership around the local foster care issue
• Provide collateral materials (video, digital, print, apparel, etc.) for training and marketing
