TBRI Training

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an evidence-based, trauma-informed intervention that is specifically designed for children who come from hard places, such as maltreatment, abuse, neglect, multiple home placements, and violence, but the principles apply to all children. TBRI is a comprehensive 24-hour curriculum that highlights the importance of empowering, connecting and corrective children in a trauma-informed way. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors

4KIDS EPIC Training was built on the foundation of TBRI. Research and practical experience has shown that TBRI/EPIC have strengthened families, marriages, as well as foster and adoptive placements. Families receiving these trainings, on average, have a greater retention rate and placement stability rate than those who do not.

All classes are on Thursday evenings from 6-9PM and will be held virtually on Zoom.

The following are the available training dates in 2024:

Class 2 - March 21st - May 16th
Class 3 - June 6th - August 1st (July 4th off)
Class 4 - September 5th - October 24th
